Our wedding guests were blown away by the show they put on (many surprised at how utterly talented and passionate the group was – some even stunned how we got such a concert-grade group to play at our party!) and the energy was electric. Not to mention, the long (18 month) lead up to our wedding was super smooth, all while riding through a pandemic of uncertain times — the band's management is super friendly, understanding, and accommodating, and the band was just amazingly talented and energetic. We were happy to get the group back on the road after months of not being able to play together and they delivered a party like we never could have imagined, including amazing renditions of special songs, amazing emceeing, and great communication and reliability from day 1 through to after the event. "Holy cow this band rocks! We found East Coast Soul because they played at my sister's wedding and was a requirement of ours to schedule our wedding around their availability (both times) - and we are glad we did. To that point, they were super helpful and understanding when we needed to move our date at the beginning of the pandemic and they were very communicative to the lead up about our preferences, their needs at the venue, and everything else to pull off a mini-concert in the fields of Vermont seamlessly. Huge shoutout to Arthur and Sean for all their logistical work! The musicians in Stax are so incredibly talented and so energetic that they had everyone from the little kids to the grandmas up on their feet. Don't snooze on their rendition of "Pony"! Seriously though, for a lot of our guests (and us!) it was the first wedding that many of us had been to in over a year and they freaking brought the party! They danced their hearts out along with us and created so much energy in the room, we couldn't be more grateful to them - they make us want to have another wedding just so we can party with them again."
