We’re thrilled to share the highlights from Jessica & Brendan’s epic wedding bash at the breathtaking Thompson Island in Boston, MA.
From start to finish, it was a celebration to remember, and East Coast Soul was beyond honored to be part of the magic!
Let’s rewind to the beginning – Jessica & Brendan reached out to us back in July 2020. We kicked off the prep work early, diving into their musical wishes and logistical dreams. With their enthusiasm and helpfulness, planning was an absolute breeze.
Fast forward to the big day. Setting up at Thompson Island is always a blast, and we take our time to ensure everything is just perfect – no room for rushing here!
Ceremony:
The ceremony was an absolute dream, set against the stunning backdrop of the island. With a solo guitar serenade and heartwarming tunes handpicked by Jessica & Brendan, love was definitely in the air.
Cocktail Hour:
Cocktail hour was all about laid-back vibes and smooth tunes, courtesy of our Piano/Sax Duo. Guests kicked back on the patio, sipping cocktails and soaking in the joyous atmosphere.
Reception:
Now, onto the main event – the reception! While there were no formal intros, we dove straight into the bride and groom’s first dance. Picture-perfect moments ensued as Jessica & Brendan twirled to the live rendition of “10,000 Emerald Pools” by Børns – pure magic!
Parent dances tugged at the heartstrings, with Van Morrison’s “Into The Mystic” setting the stage for emotional moments between the bride, groom, and their parents.
And then, it was time to boogie! Armed with an epic playlist curated by Jessica & Brendan, we unleashed a dance party extravaganza. From classic hits like “Brown Eyed Girl” to modern jams like “Firework” by Katy Perry, the dance floor was on fire all night long!
