"East Coast Soul Stax was without a doubt the highlight of our wedding reception. Finding the right wedding band is challenging because so many have 5 stars on Google, the Knot, etc. We did a decent amount of research and ultimately chose Stax because of the reviews, style/genre, and videos from the website. The videos were helpful because they're from actual weddings not the studio so you get a better sense of vibe, dancing, etc. Coincidentally, I had a friend that also used Stax last year and raved about them. Once booked, the ECS team was responsive and helpful in tying up every loose end, but also flexible on deadlines. They send an extensive questionnaire to outline the itinerary, setlist, intros, cocktail hour, you name it! They played all our must plays and avoided the do not plays and the choreographed dancing was electric. So many people came up to us during and after saying how it felt like a concert.
