Tyler & Mike’s Cunningham Farm Wedding — A Joyful, High-Energy Celebration in New Gloucester, Maine
Some weddings just feel electric from the moment we arrive — and Tyler & Mike’s celebration at Cunningham Farm in New Gloucester, Maine was absolutely one of those nights. Perfect weather, amazing guests, a wildly fun couple, and one of our favorite barns in New England… this one had all the ingredients for an unforgettable evening.
Ceremony Under the Apple Tree
The day began beneath Cunningham Farm’s iconic apple tree — a quiet corner of the property that feels straight out of a storybook. Guests took their seats on the lawn as our keyboard/vocal duo set the tone with soft acoustic pop covers.
Tyler and Mike curated one of the most unique ceremony playlists we’ve seen:
- Processional: “I Love You Always Forever” — Betty Who
- Groom’s Entrance: “How Good It Is” — Morningsiders
- Recessional: “Sissy That Walk” — RuPaul (timed perfectly after breaking the glass!)
We provided full ceremony sound support, including lavalier mics for the officiant and Tyler, plus a dedicated mic for readings. Sunlight filtered through the branches, a breeze rolled across the field, and the moment felt warm, personal, and entirely “them.”
Cocktail Hour on the Lawn
Guests headed to the grassy area near the Main Barn for cocktail hour, where our keyboard/sax duo played laid-back acoustic pop tunes. The vibe was relaxed and summery — exactly right for an outdoor July gathering.
Meanwhile, we provided additional sound support inside the Hay Barn as part of the weather plan, but the skies cooperated and allowed everyone to enjoy the wide-open outdoor space.
Dinner in the Tent
Dinner took place beneath the beautiful tent at Cunningham Farm, where we provided sound reinforcement for toasts and recorded dinner music.
Tyler and Mike kicked off the meal with a short welcome toast before the Guitar/Sax duo slipped into soft, melodic dinner tunes. The mood was warm and conversational — exactly the right energy before the dancing began.
Toasts
This was a family-focused wedding with heartfelt, memorable speeches from:
- Tyler’s dad, John
- Best Men Jason & Eric
- Best Woman Nicole
All shared a single mic — simple, seamless, and beautifully delivered.
The Dance Floor Erupts: Barn Reception
When it was time to move into the Dairy Barn for dancing, the guests did not hold back. This was a high-energy crowd from the first beat to the last.
First Dance
The couple chose “Adore” by Amy Shark, performed live by our vocalists and keys. A shortened arrangement kept it intimate and sweet — the perfect opener.
Parent Dances
Both grooms shared beautiful moments with their moms:
- “You’re My Best Friend” — Queen
- “You’ll Be In My Heart” — Phil Collins
We provided shortened performances to keep the flow moving toward the big moment:
the Hora!
Hora
5–7 minutes of joyful chaos — chairs lifted, circle dancing, laughter, and plenty of spinning. One of the loudest, happiest horas we played all season.
Main Dance Set
This crowd loved punchy, vintage-leaning bangers. The must-plays say it all:
- “Livin’ on a Prayer” — Bon Jovi
- “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” — Whitney Houston
- “Shout” — Isley Brothers
Additional favorites included:
- Love On Top
- Shut Up and Dance
- Mr. Brightside
The energy never dipped — this was a “jumping all night” kind of crowd, and the barn was absolutely buzzing right up until the venue’s strict cut-off time.

A Truly Special Night
We absolutely loved being part of Tyler and Mike’s celebration. The warmth of their families, the stunning setting at Cunningham Farm, the deeply personal ceremony, and the unbelievable dance floor energy made this wedding stand out in all the best ways.
Tyler and Mike told us at the end of the night: “We trust you.”
We took that to heart — and their guests met us with nonstop enthusiasm.
An unforgettable night. We’d do it again in a heartbeat.
